Outputs The costs can be displayed utilising the graphical tool in-built within 3Q Advantage, exported to an external function or printed off as a report.
Control 3Q Advantage allows you to include (or not) which ever costs you deem necessary – Administration function allows you to enter new costs, values , frequencies and methods of calculation.
Customisable Search You can customise the different ways that 3Q Advantage can search for data, this is achieved by using pre-selected drop down boxes, by using basic search strings or exporting whole lists to an external application. The system is configurable to the end users requirements.
Automatic and Manual Entry of all Costs
Standard Costs These are the costs of the item that has failed – either the purchase price, selling price or any other value you attach to it. Each time the item fails the quantity and value is recorded. In addition to this you can assign a cost for each stage in the continuous improvement cycle, therefore costing the overhead you incur in resolving issues.
Support Costs Are the costs incurred by your company in containing and resolving the issue, they could range from simple items such as screening product or modifying a test program, to off site meetings, rewriting procedures or costs of flights and hotels.
One Off Costs This is a free form text area that can be used to record any costs that are not regular but have occurred in resolving the quality issue – for example if re-work was incurred or modification to a test jig or tool.
